Thank you so much for this post Pastor Gallaher. I can relate to much of it since it mirrors so closely to my life experience. I do know the Lord, His forgiveness and grace. Yet I still do struggle with the fear that you made reference to. I have such a hard time drawing close to God although that is what I desire most! I feel like Paul when he claimed to be “chief of sinners”. The more I study and find out who God really is and what His character is like the more I see just how rotten I am. I am having such a hard time getting past that!
